Calling all Non Geeks - The Podcast Sisters are here!

by Anna Farmery

As I have mentioned before, a few of us female bloggers and podcasters have got together to start recording a new show - The Podcast Sisters. It is a show aimed at women who want to learn more about Web 2.0 but in reality it is for anyone who wants to know and even more importantly how to use the technology to promote your business/personal brand.

The topics coming up include:- blogging, podcasting, second life, twitter, social networks, personal branding and loads more. The “sisters” will be a rotating mix of people - on the first show was Krishna De, Heather Gorringe and Anna Farmery but we are hoping to invite many of our friends on to talk about how they have used podcasting etc to grow or promote their business.

If you either want to come on the show or want us to cover a topic then email the podcast.sisters@googlemail.com

  1. Winnie Says:

I really enjoyed this show. I think you all have a lot of knowledge that you can teach people like me. I am curious to know what you all do in terms of promotion for your podcasts. How do you get people to know about them who aren’t readers of your blogs?

  2. Anna Farmery Says:

    Winnie

We will dedicate a show to you in a couple of weeks and I will also post some ideas on this blog - great to have you on board!

  3. Krishna De Says:

Winnie - thank you for joining us for our first show. I think your idea for the show on promoting our podcasts is a great idea.

We look forward to sharing what we do on a future show - I am sure to learn from Anna and Heather as we all take different apporaches which I think will be one of the riches of The Podcast Sisters.
