Podcasting Groups

by Anna Farmery

I genuinely feel that the more time you spend with podcasters either on line, in person or at expo’s the better. Why well it stimulates your mind. Your can learn so much from talking to them, hearing their issues, solving yours, generating contacts, ideas, motivation.

I live in the UK and sometimes it is difficult to get together but I that just means that I have to be more innovative!

1) Look for online expo’s there are some good ones out there
2) Join member forums on podcasting sites or for instance I am a member of the podcasting groups at Yahoo.
3) Follow up on any meeting that you have and keep in touch with your contacts.
4) Teleconferences are also a great way to speak to others and people are offering them frequently as a way of marketing their services - so take them up on the free content.
5) Join the linked in podcasting group - again I am a member and another way of finding similar minded people.
6) E-mail your favourite podcasters, develop a relationship. Anyone wanting to hook up with me my e-mail is anna@theengagingbrand.com and I am also on LinkedIn - AnnaFarmery.
