Tip 16 - If you don’t want to sound like a chipmunk!

Oh I learned this tip the hard way!

If you don’t record your file at a frequency of 44,100 then on many of the sites that I mentioned yesterday you will sound like a chipmunk. In the early days I didn’t know this and could not understand why it was happening. One of those tips called…things I wished I had known when I started!

    Anna, actually, I have found out since then that you can go down to 22,050 frequency and 64 kb without sounding like a chipmunk.

    Ah ha, great tip. For someone like me can you explain the 64k bit?
